Jaykant has successfully leveraged his experience in investment banking and commercial real estate private equity to start ARCHETYPE Investments in 2014 (formerly named DYON).

As Founder and Managing Principal, Jaykant is instrumental in the day-to-day operations at ARCHETYPE, including leading the sourcing, negotiation and execution of the firm’s growing portfolio of commercial real estate assets. He works closely with all departments to ensure projects are continuing seamlessly and dedicates a significant amount of time to effectively communicating with investors and lenders. Jaykant has utilized his financial and legal background to make sound investment decisions and grow the investment portfolio.

With more than twenty-three years of engineering, field supervision, project management, and quality control experience, Michael has been an integral part of building everything from local multi-family communities to luxury, waterfront condominium developments. His experience and exposure to multiple disciplines over the years allows him to bring a pragmatic approach to all aspects of a given project. 

As Development & Construction Manager for ARCHETYPE Investments, Michael handles the day-to-day operations of project development, pre-construction, and other construction management responsibilities. 

Rama brings expertise in life science, innovation and technology to ARCHETYPE, where he serves as Head of New Ventures. He was most recently a site head for a Bayer innovation hub in Silicon Valley, and before that he worked at Merck & Company.

As Head of New Ventures, Rama helps strengthen ARCHETYPE’s creation of new business opportunities, solutions & partnerships. He leverages his consumer health, venture building, business development, technology management, PPM (product planning & management), strategy & innovation expertise to help ensure that ARCHETYPE’s portfolio is even more resilient and responsive to emerging customer needs in the 21st century.

Jason is both well-versed in civil and infrastructure engineering design. He has worked with a variety of projects, most notably the creation of a clean water hydraulic network. He has also assisted on multi-family housing projects as the assistant project manager, providing construction management and supervision.

As the Project Manager, Jason handles the pre-construction, planning, and management at ARCHETYPE Investments, as well as managing the facilities, operations, business analyses, IT, and more for the company.

Alyssa brings both her professional and academic acumen in finance, business analytics, and management. She assists with office operations and is responsible for implementing and scheduling our company calendar, events, meetings, and correspondence. On the financial side, Alyssa works closely with our accountant, ensuring that our budgets and account payables processes are efficient and accurate.

As our Business Operations Associate, Alyssa utilizes her superb communication and organizational skills to improve and maintain all in-house office operations and is our “culture” champion.

With several years of experience in the construction industry, Alex is responsible for coordinating all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and managing subcontractors and suppliers. He works closely with the project team to ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed and that all project milestones are met. 

When he’s not on site, Alex enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He indulges in smoking his favorite meats while passionately rooting for his sports teams, the Carolina Panthers and Duke Blue Devils.

With more than nine years of property management experience, Isabel has handled new construction lease ups, asset management, sales and marketing within managed communities throughout the Charlotte, Greensboro, and Rock Hill areas.
She is a member of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association and has completed the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) course work.
